I bet you didn’t know that Chihuahuas can herd sheep. I didn’t know that until today when I saw the video of Nancy the Sheep Herding Chihuahua. She’s pretty, like me, and she’s fast. I would love to give herding a try, but I think I might be a little scared of sheep that are that big.
Today, I saw a bunny outside. I would be willing to herd bunnies. I think I could do that.
A fellow Chihuahua is going to be a police dog in Japan. The BBC writes, “A chihuahua named Momo (Peach) has passed the exam to become a dog in the police force in western Japan, in what seems to be a first.”
She’s going to be a search and rescue dog and she weighs about the same as I do. They say she’ll be really good at getting into small spaces that other dogs can’t reach.
This is so exciting! I’m really good at smelling. Maybe I should apply, too!
So GiGi did come home, but I was so happy to see her that I forgot to blog. But here I am now so here’s the update. For some reason Lola, Sookie, Purrl and I are home alone and Lola’s in charge, but she’s nice so it’s all good, I get walks every day and that makes me happy, and all and all life as a dog is fun, and boring. I don’t know how the 2 can go together, but they do.
Well, I have to go now. Time to go and chill in the sun, type to you all soon!
So my sissy Gigi left and I miss her so much! I don’t know when I will see her again! Mommy misses her too, but I miss her more and I’m not getting as much snuggies and it’s killing me! Why would someone do that to me? I’m just a cute little doggie that will lick your nose and show you my belly! I don’t think I made any non-friends. And how could someone not like me? Again I’m just a little (super) cute doggie! That is all. I will blog again when I see Gigi again.
So today while I was sunning myself, I thought back to my first day at my new home. This is how it went: First this lady picked me up from my home. She was nice, but I was scared. She was taking me away from my home and my mommy. When in the car, I fell asleep (can you blame me? I was only 4 weeks old!). Then when I woke up, I was in a completely new place and there were new people too. I couldn’t understand what they were saying . But then even more people came and they wrapped me in a blanket and fed me some yummy puppy milk. My new family seemed to really like me. They rubbed me and petted me and gave me lots of love. I really was scared, but I was also really happy. When someone would put me on the ground, I was very soon frustrated. I was not able to walk straight! I remember meeting Lola. I thought she was my new mommy. She didn’t look like me, but she was older so I thought she was my mom. When the sun finally went down I found myself really tired, so I went to sleep thinking this is going to be a really nice home.
